On Tuesday, October 25th, The Kent Companies opened the doors of the newest Kent Kwik Travel Center and Rustic Cafe in Midland, TX. This location is Midland’s 17th Kent Kwik and second Rustic Cafe. Interstate travelers and locals can find this location situated off East I-20 and loop 250, the exact address is 5800 I-20, Midland, TX.

The standout features of this travel center are its spacious truckers lounge, complete with showers and laundry, walk-in beer cave, ethanol-free fuel, full-service Rustic Cafe restaurant, and 24-hour service. Guests can dine in, order to go, or book an event in the Midland Room of the Rustic Cafe. A home-style diner featuring breakfast served all day, diners can expect to find big flavors and classic comfort food. Featured menu items include chicken fried steak, handcrafted burgers, sweet cream pancakes and hand-dipped milkshakes.

There is no other truck stop like this in Midland and it is with full confidence that The Kent Companies is meeting the needs of their guests, from local drivers to professional truckers.

Kent kwik mascot challenge is back!

Midland, TX- The Kent Companies is excited to announce our 2022 Kent Kwik Mascot Challenge! The company is inviting all local mascots to enter for a chance to win FREE GAS FOR A YEAR from Kent Kwik Convenience Stores. To enter, mascots need to create and post a video or photo on Facebook, Instagram, and/or Tiktok from Monday, September 12th to Friday, October 14th. The post must showcase the mascot in full costume either at one of the Kent Kwik stores or featuring one or more Kent Kwik branded items (such as a Kwik Splash fountain drink cup, Kwik Start coffee cup, Kent Kwik Chips or Kwik Eats food item). The picture or video does not have to be on site of a Kent Kwik if you chose to feature one of the Kent Kwik branded items. Kent Kwik branded item kits are available upon request. The mascot with the most engagements (likes, shares, and comments) will win free gas for a year. There will also be two additional winners selected for “Most Creative”. Every mascot that participates will receive a $100 gas card. Mascots may post more than one entry. The challenge is to be as creative as possible. Involve the entire team, your school, fans, or whatever you think will be the most attention grabbing. Please make sure all of the posts are public and include #kentkwikmascotchallenge on all posts so that we can verify all
entries.

First Stand-Alone Rustic opens in Odessa, tx

The Kent Companies opens their first stand-alone Rustic Cafe to meet the demands of hungry eaters in Odessa, TX. Guests who frequent the home-style cafes in Midland, Haskell and Alamogordo, NM, are used to the restaurant being attached to Kent Kwik Travel Centers. While this Rustic shares a parking lot, it is not attached to the truck stop.

Allowing for a more spacious dining room and banquet room, guests can expect the same high-quality food and service. Rustic Cafe is known for dishes like their fall off the plate chicken fried steak, legen-dairy milkshakes and breakfast served all day. If eaters are feeling adventurous they can try the 2-burger challenge to get their picture donned on the wall of fame.
