Kent Kwik Expands in the Texas Market with Six-Store Acquisition

TEXAS, April 5, 2021 The Kent Companies, the parent company of Kent Kwik convenience stores, is excited to announce that the company has acquired Connel Oil Company, dba as Mr. C’s convenience Stores, in Mineral Wells and Weatherford, TX.

The acquisition included six company-operated Chevron-branded Mr. C’s convenience stores, a book of branded and unbranded dealer supply accounts, and a bulk plant. The acquisition increased the Kent Kwik portfolio to 59 company-owned and operated stores throughout Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. The company also supplies over 100 contract dealers throughout Texas and Louisiana. In addition, the company currently has 3 new Kent Kwiks under construction, along with a new Kent Lube Fast Oil Change Center, 2 new Huddle Houses, 1 new Rustic Café, and 2 new Kent carwashes. All are expected to open by Fall 2021.

In late 2020, the family owned and operated company purchased the Buy Fast stores in Fayetteville, TN.

Join us Monday, June 21st, for The Kent Companies 2021 Charity Golf Tournament at Green Tree Country Club in Midland, Tx. This year we will be joined by former Dallas Cowboy and 3x Super Bowl Champion, Darren Woodson. The day will consist of an 8am shotgun start and a 1pm shotgun start. Darren will speak and raffle prizes will be given out at lunch for the morning round and at an evening reception for the afternoon round.

New Kent Kwik Coming Soon

The Kent Companies is pleased to announce the groundbreaking of their next Kent Kwik Convenience Store location. Located at 8701 NE Loop 338, Odessa, TX, this will be the 50th Kent Kwik for The Kent Companies.

This new Kent Kwik will be the 14th Odessa location. Guests know Kent Kwik for their friendly service, fresh food and convenient drive-thru. This location will feature the signature drive-thru, 28-degree beer cave, Kwik Eats Deli and Kent Car Wash.

Round Up for Charity

Kent Kwik has launched a new Round Up for Charity campaign to make donations throughout the year to local charities. When guests check out, they will now be asked if they would like to round up their total to the next even dollar amount and donate the extra change to a local charity. These local charities include PBRC, CASA, Keep Haskell Beautiful and Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Kent Kwik and The Kent Companies as whole prides itself on their involvement in the communities they server. A core belief is serving the communities that serve us and the hope is that the Round Up for Charity program can allow for continuous giving.
