MIDLAND, TEXAS, October 31, 2025 – The Kent Companies, a Texas-based, family-owned and operated business established in 1957, proudly announces the acquisition of B&B Petroleum, headquartered in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. This strategic expansion strengthens The Kent Companies’ presence across the Southeast and marks its ninth state of operation.

The acquisition includes 15 Chevron-branded convenience stores, along with Subway and Red Bird Café locations. As part of the company’s continued commitment to growth and excellence, these stores will transition to the Kent Kwik brand, well known for its dedication to exceptional guest service and convenience.

With the addition of these new locations, The Kent Companies now operates 130 company-owned convenience stores/travel centers across 9 states and supplies fuel to more than 150 dealer sites across 6 states.
