Announcing the Winners of Kent Kwik’s School Spirit Showoff!

We are excited to announce the winners of Kent Kwik’s School Spirit Showoff: Snap, Share, Score! Over the past few weeks, schools from across the area showed off their incredible creativity, energy, and Kent Kwik spirit by submitting photos and videos featuring Kent Kwik products. It was amazing to see the school pride on display, and we are proud to support the education community with this fun and engaging event!

After receiving tons of fantastic entries and tallying the results, here are the winning schools for each category:

🎉 Most Engagement: Early College High NHS
Their submission received the highest amount of likes, shares, and comments. The enthusiasm from their supporters was off the charts!

🎨 Most Creative: Midland Legacy Choir
This group wowed us with their imaginative and unique take on the challenge. Their creativity truly stood out, and they brought the Kent Kwik spirit to life in a special song.

🏆 Fan Vote: Haskell High Cheer
The local community showed up in full force to support Haskell High Cheer, who earned the most votes on our website during the public voting period. Way to go, Haskell!

Each of these schools will receive a $1,500 donation to their classroom, club, or organization. We are so proud of all the participants and grateful for the overwhelming support from the community. Stay tuned for future events, and keep showing that Kent Kwik spirit!

We are thrilled to announce the Kent Kwik School Spirit Showoff: Snap, Share, Score!  This is a fantastic opportunity for school-supported clubs, organizations, and classrooms to display their school spirit and creativity while competing for a chance to win $1,500 for your school! Any school in a town with or near a Kent Kwik, Bounytland by Kent Kwik or Tom Thumb by Kent Kwik store can enter to win.

Here’s How to Enter:

  1. Create and Post: From Friday, September 13th through Sunday, October 6th at midnight, create and post a video or photo on your favorite social media platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok). Your post should showcase your students either at one of our Kent Kwik locations or featuring Kent Kwik branded items such as Kwik Splash fountain drinks, Kwik Start Coffee, Kent Kwik chips, jerky, trail mix, or Kwik Eats items. While the post doesn’t need to be at a Kent Kwik store, it must feature at least one Kent Kwik branded item to enter! 
  2. Be Creative: We encourage you to get as creative as possible! Involve your entire team, school, and fans to make your post stand out. Show off your school spirit in the most attention-grabbing way! 
  3. Tag Us: Ensure your post is public and tag Kent Kwik Convenience Stores in your submission so we can see and share your amazing entries. #kentkwikschoolspiritshowoff

Prizes:

We will have three winners, each receiving a $1,500 donation to their winning classroom, club, or organization:
1. Overall Most Engagement: The post with the highest total likes, shares, and comments.
2. Most Creative: The most imaginative and unique post.
3. Fan Pick: The post with the most votes from the local community. Public voting will take place from Monday, October 7th to Sunday, October 13th, HERE.

    Yesterday marked a momentous occasion for The Kent Companies and the Odessa community. We proudly presented Harmony Home with a check for $90,000—the largest donation ever raised from The Kent Companies annual charity golf tournament. This significant contribution will further support Harmony Home in its vital mission to provide safe environments and advocacy for children affected by abuse.

    The Kent Companies have always believed in the power of community, and our annual charity golf tournament is one of the many ways we give back to those who need it most. This year’s event was an overwhelming success, thanks to the generous support of our participants, sponsors, and volunteers. The $90,000 raised will make a lasting impact on Harmony Home, helping them continue their invaluable work of offering hope and healing to children and families in the Permian Basin.

    But the celebrations didn’t end there. The Odessa Chamber of Commerce joined us in commemorating another exciting milestone—the ribbon cutting at our brand-new Kent Kwik location on Yukon Rd. in Odessa. This brand new convenience store is designed to serve the growing needs of the Odessa community, offering a wide range of products and services, like a full service deli and manned car wash, with the exceptional guest care that Kent Kwik is known for.
